Celebrating community through story, design, and product activations

Pride has always been a celebration of identity, self-expression, and the joy of being unapologetically yourself. But at its heart, Pride is more than just individual expression; it’s the strength of a community that encourages, uplifts, and cares for one another.

My contributions to Pride involved asset creation, web landing page design, motion design, product design, open-source ideation, and production for award submissions.

To coincide with Pride month, I led the creation of our Unlocked homepage experience from the ground up. Starting with wireframes and our campaign toolkit, I shaped the page flow and delivered production‑ready layouts. To center employee stories, I integrated Teams product UI into the hero animation, building a carousel elevating our people—so each story feels personal yet connected to the broader campaign while nodding to Microsoft products. I also designed assets that extended seamlessly into our activations:Microsoft 365 UI treatments, open‑source design components for Figma and Github, localized social assets for regional teams, and Xbox activations.

Every element was crafted with accessibility and flexibility in mind, enabling easy reuse across channels while preserving a consistent, inclusive voice.

When it came time to submit our campaign for awards, I collaborated with our Creative Director and Senior Brand Marketing Managers to storyboard our creative submission–a video showcasing all the beautiful stories that we’re so important to uplift and share in a year where fundamental human rights were at stake.
