Karen Aitken is a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in diabetes care for people with Type 1 diabetes in Washington. Her practice has a relaxed office space in Ballard, a local Seattle neighborhood and also offers remote visits for patients to connect from across the state. We designed her a fresh logo (representing the ups and downs in blood glucose levels!), took head shots and office photos for the website, and designed a site that’s both welcoming and professional.
Slate Hair and Design wanted a website for their new hair salon in Tumalo, Oregon! Using their beautiful logo we paired some great photography together, and built each stylist their own page.
Carrie Elmore, owner of Slate, wanted to proudly highlight their partnership with Green Circle Salons. They are committed to environmentally-friendly salon practices. This involves sorting the hair, color tubes, and old foils for recycling. Hair can be reused to clean up oil spills and the foils and color tubes are easily repurposed into other materials. The program also gives us the resources to properly dispose of color chemicals rather than rinsing them down the drain. I really enjoyed learning about this process while creating her website!
Stash Hotel Rewards loves to feature boutique independent hotels in their network. What better way to do this than targeting using email marketing? It’s always a fun challenge creating something with compelling visuals and impactful typography that will convert and provide good click-thru rates. We often use beautiful photography from Unsplash and combine them with our partner hotel photography and the Stash brand to really set these promotions up for success.
The marketing campaign, Double Points, launched June 5th, 2017 and was expected to hit over 600,000 email recipients through Facebook and Instagram. The goal here was to choose compelling partner hotel photography that sparked the desire to travel.

Padilla is an eco-friendly apparel brand that provides simple clothing for the entire family. Started in early 2015, their mission was to help connect people to nature through its beauty while helping other organizations give back to communities around the world. The initial success of the branding translated to a new company and renamed Bohemian Star Boutique in early 2016.
